-When I get back from my honeymoon, I’ll be giving away a lot of books I received at BEA. Some giveaways will be on here and some will be on twitter-only.
-I keep trying to find time to write my BEA recap but with my wedding on Saturday, I haven’t had any. I plan to write up something on the honeymoon plane ride (since i have 14 hours to kill…though I have lots of books to read to kill it!) and posting when I get to Hawaii. For now I will leave you with a few brief thoughts:
1) BEA is AWESOME and if you can swing it, I highly recommend it
2) It took about 5 days for my feet/legs/shoulders to recover. I felt like I ran a marathon.
3) Have a plan and a schedule. Actually agent Suzie Townsend has a great post with advice on How To Swag at BEA.
4) I so wanted to make the blueboarder dinner but after swagging all day Wednesday, I just couldn’t rally. I did make it out to kidlit drinks later that night. I suggest next year the blueboarder dinner is BEFORE the exhibits start.
Here is a video Jen Hayley made about BEA in which I star! (Okay, she stars, but hey, I’m a writer. I exaggerate.)
Here is an incomplete list of the books I received (since I’m doing this from memory as I am not in the same place as my books):

Delirium by Lauren Oliver
Hold Me Closer, Necromancer by Lish McBride
etc etc etc. That’s enough for now since I have to get ready to do wedding stuff.
Anyway, I wanted to leave you with one other thing before I go into crazy-wedding mode. Hopefully I’ll post some wedding photos either Sunday or Tuesday depending on time, but if you friend me on Facebook, I’m sure I’ll be tagged in a million photos.
I worked on a baby photo slide show yesterday for the wedding and found proof that I have been reading since before I even knew how. Here’s the proof:

Wasn’t I a cute little monster?

The covers are gorgeous. I especially like Nightshade and Tyger Tyger. And is that Ascendant AND Paranormalcy?! *swoon*
My bank account and books shelves are both going groan when September comes.

Do not write that post about BEA until after the wedding!! Enjoy EVERY MOMENT of this week (because amidst the chaos and stress, there will be joy, too). I wish you a day that feels absolutely perfect in every way this Saturday!

1. You are adorable as a reading baby and as a swagging adult.
2. I am jealous of your ARCs.
3. If you post an entry on this journal during your honeymoon I’ll be mad at you.

Happy Honeymoon!
Also…BOOKS!!! *envy*
I love how you have proof of your early readerness. I was reading before I could read, too, but I don’t have any proof of that besides my memories. XD
